Re: HARD TOP TRI CABIN W/OUT SWIM PLATFORM ON EBAY!!
The sofa, Aaron? That's the only thing you could do without? :D The curtains look like bed sheets I bought ca. 1971. the curtains are just too painful to look at nancy. and yes, they too would go. but the sofa, well, that's just bloody awful. as for the lack of swim platform, i've a tri cabin w/ ou...

Re: Plumbing Questions
i have the original PEX pipe, 1/2 OD and have used sea tech fittings to connect my new galley and forward head faucets last year. i also have the lowes special 'PEX PIPE CUTTER' which ensures your pipe is straight across. love that tool. and it will cut through up to 1" OD flex hose too!!! mak...

Re: 74 Tricabin power
here is my advice to you. slide every panel open. open every drawer and hatch. get to know your boat. the breaker panel that you mentioned SHOULD be on the starboard side, behind the sliding panel in the salon as you go down the steps to the aft stateroom. even though i grew up with the tri cabin, ...

Re: 74 Tricabin power
the 1972 tri cabin i grew up with had the duel 30A service. onboard hookups were located in the aft cockpit port and starboard. the main breaker is on the electrical panel in the salon, at least that's how our setup was. standard house hold panel and breakers along with genset cutover and crossover...

Re: F36 Tricabin
Congratulations on the new boat. It looks like it has a hard top. I don't think I have ever seen a TriCabin with a hardtop other than a few that were obvious custom or aftermarket jobs. This one looks like it may be factory. Any idea if Trojan offered a hardtop for the TriCab? How is the headroom u...

Re: Shower pump running continuously. Need some tips
kai. the aft shower sump is right infront of the aft berth. there should be an access hatch right there. mine did the same thing until i cleaned the float. DO NOT IGNORE this location. it can get really nasty. after brad and i use the boat and head out, i always drain that sump so nothing sits in i...

Re: ELECTRICAL ISSUE, HOME BASED, QUESTION
hey guys, thanks for all the great responses. and you're right. it was 3000 watts, not volts. i was tired when i typed the original........ brad had a professional electrician do the initial install, and he is the one that purchased the converter. i tend to agree that we are overloading the thing, ...

Re: How to remove bilge magnets.
You will find that manual on the top shelf of your library right beside the one marked "Safe Place". You know the "Safe Place". That's where all the stuff you cannot find goes. I must have put that in a safe place. i thought that was 'on order'. you know, that mysterious place i...

ELECTRICAL ISSUE, HOME BASED, QUESTION
morning guys. i know that this is not boat based, but, i have a question regarding an issue brad and i are experiencing at the house. hopefully, there are a few electricians out there that can assist. both of us have traveled and lived in europe and the UK. we've collected a few small kitchen appli...
