VINTAGE INT'L ADVERT POKING FUN AT 'SEA RAY'

found this on ebay this morning and thought i'd share. great trojan meter boat advert poking fun at sea ray and their sundancer line. after all, trojan WAS the forerunner in this when the meter boats came out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-Trojan-Yacht-Company-Color-Ad-The-New-350-Express-Yacht-/371...

Re: 1976 F36 Tri Cab Water Heater swap

i have a 1982 tri with a raritan (original) 20 gallon water heater. the large water heaters were standard on trojans above 32'. mine is located in a small storage compartment at the bottom of the forward cabin steps. it's a pain in the butt to drain for winterizing, but i love the capacity. i can t...

Re: Not sure if I have Heat on my Cruisair??

you may also want to rotate the 'warmer/colder' knob all the way to warmer. sometimes there will be an audible 'click' of the thermostat switching from a/c to heat. sometimes. not always. i don't always hear the click on mine, but it does switch from cold to heat after a few minutes. one thing to k...

Re: FROM AARON.....AN UPDATE....& FINISHED WINTERIZING

thanks for the words of encouragement folks. this has been a rough few months. i will not sugar coat that. i still get awful pain spikes, usually at night. i get moody, and grumpy and sometimes my internal thermometer is all over the map. brad is amazing in his support and his care, which i am grat...

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!

the one nice thing about being out on medical leave........spending a thanksgiving with my partner brad and my family in northern virginia. had a great time in spite of my continued fatigue, and, BONUS, left overs of fried turkey, home made cranberry sauce and candied sweet potatoes. super food for...

Re: Interior Ideas for 1976 F32

hi lizz. have you given any further thought to the galley and head? i've thought of refreshing the galley counter and the forward head for a long time, but, to be honest, that's way outside of my expertise. i also want to refresh the salon window coverings and installing new carpet throughout. i kn...

Re: Onan exhaust manifold/ other parts

i think perry used him last year or the year before to purchase a fully restored onan mcck 6.5. i don't think it broke the bank either. if i had the $$ last year, i'd have done the same. but what i would not give for a top of the line kohler or westerbeke. he is the go to guy for all things onan th...

Re: Winterizing Walter V Drives

Great customer service as long as you have the model number and serial number of the v-drive. The raw water passage is small, holds about two cups of water. They recommend that you take out the six bolts on the cover and inspect it every year for build up and any blockage. So you will need extra ga...

Re: Interior Ideas for 1976 F32

what are your ideas and thoughts for the galley and the head? counter refresh and faucets are a snap once everything is taken apart. as for the teak interior...PLEASE DO NOT PAINT OVER IT!!! it lends character and warmth to the interior. painting over teak is a travesty!!!
