Re: Sold my F32 yesterday

Well Michael...so did we....did the sea trial and gave up the keys a few days ago.....a bit of regret, I remember thinking during the trial that maybe they would change their minds but they got a great deal so onward and upward. The slip looks really stupid with just the dinghy there. Thanks for al...

Re: Sold my F32 yesterday

Never great to say good bye so instead I'll say congrats on your new direction. We have crossed paths a few times on the Small Craft Route along the east coast of Georgian Bay and the Trojan flag I purchased from you still flys on the bow. Be careful and enjoy where the bow takes you. Tom Thanks fo...

Re: Sold my F32 yesterday

Congrats, always a good day when a boat sells that we have listed, right Michael? Best of luck following that Bahamas wanderlust. Would be great if you blogged future cruises and let the forum know the Blog address when the time arrives to jump off the mainland (I assume from either Stuart or Miami...

Sold my F32 yesterday

Handed over the keys to my F32 yesterday after ten great years with her. I am now boatless in Ontario! That is OK as the plan is to do some longterm cruising on the President out of Florida next year. 2017 we will set off to explore The Bahamas, specifically the Exumas then slide on over to Havana a...

Re: Trojan F36 Salon Main Windows Shifted

They are usually held in place by small screws through the bottom frame. Loosen these and you should be able to push them forwards easily then re-tighten those screws to hold them in place.

Re: POSITION OF SHAFT ANODES

I place mine 1 shaft dia: away from front of strut to not interrupt the flow of water to lubricate the strut bushing.

Re: Hello

Boats tend to run at single speed for long times... I would spend the money on fuel flow measurement rather than EFI for a constant speed use.
Of course one could just find the sweet spot using one's ears and trim tabs and save the $$$, ;)

Re: Soft Deck (small area) Repair

Only thing I worry about when repairing from below is possibility of getting an air space between underside of deck skin and the core.....Are you cutting the plywood into small squares? Hi Michael, The wood will be cut into 2 inch squares which will fit nicely thru the holes. As for the gaps in the...

Re: Top rail ideas ?

They not really soft to worry about at moment but should be done . Gentleman that did work on them an...

Re: Teak Deck Refinish

Don't sand Teak. Use varnish remover to get present coating off, let it soak then use a wood or plastic scraper to get the gum off. Then I use Teak cleaners, I like Amazon 2 part cleaner. I like my teak decks to be natural, so I just wash them regularly to get dirt off before getting into the grain ...

Re: Soft Deck (small area) Repair

Only thing I worry about when repairing from below is possibility of getting an air space between underside of deck skin and the core being replacemed. How are you going to ensure that the pressure from below and wetting will ensure this does not happen? Are you cutting the plywood into small square...

Re: Recoring hard top

I don't believe you can split the two halves.... also it is likely that the upper layer core is more damaged than the second layer.
I would cut out from the top having done test drilling to see if the second layer is in fact wet in the same areas.

Re: Suggestions to tow a PWC?

My marina has a dinghy dock. When I visit other places I put it where the setup has space, alongside, bow, stern or it's own slip. ;) My engine is down when towing because it is a 40 HP and really too heavy for that whaler, so it does not clear the water when lifted and therefore is worse than fully...

Nice boat. I saw one like that in Cape Haze at someone's dock at the end of their lot a couple years ago.
