How was it installed? Did he make the hole oversize and fill with epoxy then re-drill for the probe? I.E. is the edge of the core in the hole sealed with more than just 5200? That is how I have been told to do cored hulls, bottom or sides. I think he just drilled a hole, put the transducer in and s...

IMHO, If your goal is a 36ft boat go for it now. Don't waste your time and money on a boat you really don't want. My very first boat was a 32ft express with twins. ( never operated a boat before that) I used that for 3 years and bought an 11 meter (37.5ft.) The 11 meter is acually easier to dock and...

Well we're in the water. I had "Al" the canvas guy down Saturday to look at the job and give me an estimate. I'm going with the upgraded Sunbrella(can't remember what it's called) and strataglass. He's going to re-shape the top and make curtains for the back. Going to lose the "rear b...

Big D, Thanks for the heads up, I was planning on using a complete new set up, pump, ducts, ect. I will only run one at a time but it would be nice to know I could run both at once. I'm not sure of the electrical load yet ether. At this point I'm more concerned about installing this as a complete st...

7K BTU A/C UNIT

Hey guys, I have a 7K btu marine a/c unit I'm thinking of installing to cool the helm area of my 11 Meter Express. The boat has an enclosed bridge/helm area with drop curtains from the radar arch. There is a/c in the soloon. This additional unit would be stand alone to be used on those hot days trol...

I have a International express and they were not paint. I know of another express that also were not painted on. Maybe somebody clear coated over the stickers? I don't think you should have any clear coat on that bost unless it's been repainted. I could be wrong, I'm sure someone with more knowledge...

I have several questions but thought I would go one thread at a time  The mini fridge at the wet bar has been removed and I want to replace it. Anybody know what was in there? Who makes replacements? I don't care abo...
