He's been my dad for 48 years and I rented a pontoon for a day about 5 years ago and fell in love with boats. We went together and bought a 24 ft pontoon and that started the ball rolling. The Trojan...

Window caulking

I have an older f25 and I need to seal my 2 side windows. Can I just use regular caulking that is sold at Home Depot or Lowes?
West Marine brand caulking is about 14.00 a tube. Home Depot is about 5.00.

Couldn't you remove the Plexiglas windows, take them to a glass company and have them custom cut you some?

STEERING PLAY

Hi all,

My steering has some play in it, 3" or 4", if I remember right? Is there a way to lessen that amount? It's bothersome while underway, I continuously have to correct the wheel to keep it in a straight line, it seems.

Capt.

Thanks for the site on WEMA. Looks like I can get what I need, both gauge and sender for less than $80.00.

They will be great for my new water tank, and comes in the size I will need.

But, I think this site will more than show that it can be done,,,,,,using a sensor that is usable for both fuel or water.

I may have been right on my idea after all. Here is a web site that says their sending units can be used for water or fuel. http://www.twinsrecreation.com/fs75767.html I have also found other sites that their systems are used for fuel, water, and even waste. I may even look into one myself as they a...
