something else to check is the impellers that are "in great shape", the piece of impeller you found in the pump housing could have lodged in there and caused the one "in great shape" to spin on the shaft, and it could be pumping some water at lower speeds and then just sit and sp...

My f25 had two bilge pumps and auto floats one forward and one aft, wired to an auto-off-on switch, after my little incident where i almost sank the boat because i left the switches in off mode, I turned them off because i trailor the boat and not afraid of it sinking in my yard, I have put in two m...

On mine i have the actual structural stringers attatched to the hull, then running along the top of those are a set of stringers/engine monuts made out of 2x12s that the actual engine mouts are affixed to. which i believe is what Pat was referring to.

I know on mine there are some thru bolts at that location then about midway up, there are holes where there were some at some point, and then the v-drive mounts bolts go all the way thru. But I can see all this because the engines have been removed along with the bunks, have to replace that set of s...

Well made it thru no problem, just a little wind and very little rain here in the morehead city/beaufort area. I think danny might have gotten it a little worse up in oriental.

I guess we use our f25 differently, I usually am anchored in 100-150 foot of water, now i know why you decided to put it there, still a good looking install will only look better with the trim and paint done.

good looking install, just one question, where is your anchor and rode stored now? just curious cause I have 600ft of rode and 15ft of chain stored in that space.

yeah, that is fortunate, I trailor mine and so dont worry much about it sinking in the yard, I'm usually pretty good at remembering to turn it on, but, by the time i get it in the water again I wont have to worry about it.

On my f25 the blower was located between the two vents about halfway between the deck and the top of the gunwale, so the vents were actually pulling fresh air in and the blower was blowing it out the side, look for about a 2.5" mesh screen on the port side of the boat almost to the end of the c...

got the bendix end of the starter soaking in some heavy duty parts cleaner hopefully that will free it up some, going to let it soak all day and see what happens.

ok, really confused now, let me give you all some more info as to my predicament, the reason why my starter is not working is because I flooded it with salt water when my tranny cooler drain cock sprung a leak and flooded the engine compartment and half the cabin on my f25, after sitting for a week ...
