Need help with Onan ID

I am having the time of my life trying to identify the Onan genset in my new boat. From what I can tell it is original. I have a 1972 Sea Raider Express. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? There is no id plate on the genset. I have read thru previous posts. I have searched http://www.s...

Thanks for the info Chauzer. I like the idea of just sanding instead of stripping. I can't seem to get over the fear of the stripper touching my glass somehow somewhere.

Hopefully here in the Dallas area we get above 23 degrees in the near future and I can head out and see what I can put together.

I just ordered a manual and wiring diagram from Beacon yesterday so I will wait for that to come in. During a review of everything below deck I found a...

What is the red button for?

Thanks to everyone for the warm invite. OK, first question. I have an old breaker box on my boat. It has three fuses, 1 breaker, and a red button. Wiring is the one part of the resto job that is new to me, and is going to be my biggest challenge. My question. What does the red button do? I can make ...

Great Site!

Found this site last week when I started looking for an old Trojan. Figured I would just be watching from the sidelines for a few months as I started the search. After all of six days I found a great 1972 Raider Express all of 30 miles from my front door, with a great history to go with it. Look for...
