Is this a dumb idea? Has anyone rebuilt one of these and removed the inboard and replaced it with outboards on a bracket? Or am I asking for trouble to try and reverse engineer Trojan's designers and should just keep the inboard?

I have an original depth sounder and transducer for a 1977 F25, still in the original box, never used! interested?
