I assume the support tube goes well down into the boat and is well secured. If so you will have no issue with 200, and likely a lot more.

I would Join a boat rental club like the Freedom boat club. You will get a choice of boats so you can see what best suits your needs. And they offer unlimited instructions. I moved this to the Trojan Boat forum where it will be seen. You say your not looking for speed. Did you what to maintain you current speed capability or plan on running below planing speeds say 7-8 knots max?
