Good luck with the project, you should have started a new thread. Either way you go the transom will need major work.

You could make bushing or spacer. Or just don't overtighten

I assume the support tube goes well down into the boat and is well secured. If so you will have no issue with 200, and likely a lot more.

Any news good or bad on getting her floating?

Have you done a compression test on yours?
