came home from work last Thurs and 4 police cars in front my house and next door, anyhow they have been there four days now (and scaring the crap outa my dog) they lurk in the back yard and out front. They would not tell me what was going on which from a saftey standpoint was annoying, anyhow homici...

Re: WEBASTO AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

they look nice! I may get one for my fly, the calculator says I need 23000 btu's to cool my boat. Any one know if this is accurate? or should I go bigger or smaller? For those who do not know my boat it is a 36 ft tri cabin with a flybridge 14 ft beam

Re: What to do about old fuel in tank???

when I bought my boat it had 160 gallons of 5 yr old gas, ran the boat it ran great! just added some treatment, on another note do you have twin tanks? If you do switch back and forth between tanks to ensure both have acceptable fuel, then run one tank pretty much dry, change water separators (alway...

Re: Looks Like a new motor.

Re: launching woes

....water sprayed out from between the engine and the drive.... Do you mean the bellhousing? Suspect one or both frost plugs at back of block. Yes I meant bellhousing, I am not aware of frost plugs at back of block, but I pray you are correct, I have a few engines in my shop and will have a look in...

Re: Transport An F30 Convertible

Any pics would help. I'm convinced the bridge has to come off. The least amount of hieght with the top rail off is about 12'9" with props and rudders off, plus trailer height. trailer = no height as the hydraulic lowers to what you need, with rudders on and top rail off with room for suspensio...

if its anything like mine, all the interior headliners have to come down. Not fun

Re: Transport An F30 Convertible

Well I have experience with moving my 1976 36 ft tri fly, which I would think is larger or equal to the 30' you are speaking of. All I had to do was remove the window and railings off the flybridge as well as the rails for the canvas, IMPORTANT NOTE when you take the canvas poles down, number them a...

launching woes

well got both trojans launched and a few things are not right, #1 launched the trifly and when I pulled the floor covers there was a little water spout coming up from the center of the boat just in front of the genny, looks like someone put too long of a screw in it at one time and it rusted out, of...

Re: F36 Tri Cabin - Electrical Issues

the radio thing sounds like a crossed wire, for one thing try your emergency start button, it is on the lower helm dash area it will be a push button, when you push it you should hear a click as the solonid switches, this will in essence marry your two batteries. While holding the button down turn t...

Re: F36 Tri Cabin - Electrical Issues

hot cable = poor connection, you can either swap the suspect ground cable for a new one or borrow one off your genset, but first clean the connections at each end. are you sure you have connected your batteries correctly? I would actually separate the two batteries aat the mutual ground and your eme...
