I'm still here also, had to have a back surgery so that put a lot of winter time projects on the back burner. The snow has piled up here knee deep to an African giraffe and am looking forward to the melt down. We haven't seen grass in the front yard since early December and the snow caved in the top...

Absolutely, postively we have a weapon on board, we have very large curious black bears here in West Virginia. They can swim to! I don't advertise the fact that a weapon is on board and its not laying out in plain view either. I'm also a veteran and spent enough time in an 18 wheeler to make the mil...

Was there any charge for the ride across the road..and you're right.. going down hill on a Trojan will not be an experience that many of us will ever have. The wife and I put our Trojan on the Kanawha river in WV and followed it to the Ohio River and went south into Kentucky. We had several locks to...

F26 V-Berth
We need an opinion from fellow 26 foot owners to settle a thing going between my wife and I. The issue is, when sleeping in the v-berth does the feet go forward towards the bow or feet facing the galley with the head at the bow. Now for consideration she states that she is 4'11" tall and barely...

Wow - the Ford trannie is the best trannie offered on any of the diesels - and can easily handle the 100-150HP boosts. The Duramax has the weakest. I guess any transmission will wear out if you pull a lot in the mountains. Did you upgrade when you replaced it last? Yes, I went to a Jasper reman, an...

Dogs and Boating
We have an 80# female timberwolf that likes to go boating with us, she is well know when she throws her head back and wolf howls at the moon. We have had several comments from other boaters that they knew Seneca was on the boat the night before. She absolutely loves children especially with ketchup( ...

Replacement Fuel Tanks
I live up here in coal mining country and the radiator shops here are use to all kinds of heavy equiptment repair. They filled the gas tank with water and then took a special saw and cut a 10" square hole in the side of the tank and cleaned it. After that process the tank was sprayed with a sea...
