Thanks guys, I get that question asked a lot (when can I buy one) but unfortunately the numbers don't play out well. The components I used are pretty spendy so there is no way of producing them at an economical price point.

Made some LED lights............

Gents, Thought I would share my recent project. I wanted some LED spread lights as well as some underwater LED's. I couldn't find anything available for spread lights that are dim-able. So, I researched LED's and decided to design and make my own. Below are some pics. I think they came out pretty co...

I went with the 1409's which are technically for small blocks but they are more than adequate for the BB's and offer great economy.

The Edelbrock's provided for much better idle, smoother running and greatly improved fuel economy (for me at least). I wrote the numbers down and I think I talked about them in a thread somewhere but I can't find it now.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I haven't been spending too much time on the boat lately due to weather and busy stuff. The new carbs sure did make a great improvement though! Anyways, thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek on something I've been working on. I designed some really cool LED lights. I ...

Well, it's probably not very fair to give my opinions about ride because this is my first boat and so I don't have any previous boat to compare to. I have ridden in other boats but not actually driven very many. Having said that, I will share my observations which should be taken for what they are w...

Thanks for all the info guys. Paul, I haven't calibrated the flowscans, I will check out the instructions and see what it says but I can't imagine how/what you would calibrate since I wouldn't have a "known" to calibrate to? On a side note, am I assuming correctly that your F36 has a littl...

Crusader 454's....Fuel Burn....Not so Good

Well Gents, I've been enjoying my boat since getting it in the water but I think I have a major issue with the fuel burn. From doing a lot of reading and looking at RWS's fuel consumption before he went to yanmars I should be in the range of 22 GPH at @ 3k rpm. Yesterday I went on a little fishing t...

Good timing on this as I need to verify the oil level in my Velvet's. Doing it right after a run is a pain in the you-know-what. Does anyone know approximately what the cold level should be on the dip stick? That would help out a ton and allow me to at least make sure I'm close.

Gents, The day finally came for re-launch. Everything went great with no problems. I forgot how big this this looks going down the freeway! Put it into the water, no leaks. Started the motors, fired right up. I've taken it out a few times now, just short trips as I am still building my confidence in...

FYI, I'm in the water now. Launched it last Thursday, just haven't had a chance to take some pics and post. It looks absolutely purdy in the water, report coming soon. The gauges are wired separately, one for each motor. Since you mentioned it, here's a sneak peek of the launch. cheers. http://www.y...
