I have the Saran wrap, Crisco, cooking oil from all the local marina's, my boats in the air and tilted 45 degrees. I have a hole in the bottom and a turkey in the oven.

What I do is every 3 or 4 oil changes I drain the oil and fill the engine up with soapy fresh water and run the engine for 5 to 10 minutes or until it starts making funny noises, drain and refill up new oil. I read in the manual that SAE 30 is the recommended oil.

We had been putting 10W40 but I'm going with the SAE30 as recommended.
