Re: F32 Helm Seats

Yes I hear you on a good staple gun. We will just rebuild ours at this point. We have rebuilt boat seating before and my wife is pretty good at it but it is time consuming. Ahhh the joys of an old boat!

F32 Helm Seats

Anyone have a pair of original helm seats in good shape they would part with. We need to replace ours or re-upholster what we have. Wife can do it but need to check our options.
Thanks and Happy New Year all.

Hatch Hinge

Anyone have a good solution to installing hinges on the two large engine hatches on an F-32? Wondering what hinge and or lift/strut may work. Have a few ideas but curious what others may have done.
Thanks!

F-32 engine hatch size

If anyone is near their F-32 could you get me the dimensions of the engine hatches? Want to see if they will fit on a small trailer I have to rework over the winter. Thanks!

Re: Groaning over 7 knots

Groco SV Series valve. That one is almost completely open. Best bet is to pull the rubber "plug" out when the boat is out of the water and grease it with a non petroleum based grease. Good valves but parts are non existent. Pretty easy to do.

Re: Fixing cabin wall vinyl F-32

Can you tell me where you purchased your vinyl from. Thank you We didn't replace the vinyl. Pulled the panels off and fixed the wrinkled front. Stretched and used some 3M 77. We did re-cover the lower side panels with fabric and made a new front pad where at the Vee. Next time we will either replac...

Fixing cabin wall vinyl F-32

Gotta fix the vinyl in the cabin. It isn't in bad shape just all wrinkled and loose on the forward wall panel in the cabin. Appears that the rails need come off on the sides to pull the side panels so I can get to the edges of the forward panel. Any tricks to this?
Thanks!

Re: Msd ignition

MSD ignition is good stuff. Use a marine dizzy in my 502 Ford w/ a 6AL box and a dizzy and box on my CJ-5. Distributor is similar to Ford Duraspark. If you need a reverse rotation you may be out of luck. They don't do that for GM anyway. ( mechanical advance can't be reversed) Simple to work on and ...
