Re: Bimini Top

Sounds like its plastic coated steel , not a great idea on a boat . Photo would help id it . The best thing to do is get SS tubing and bend it to match ( or have it done ) you could try to treat it and paint it , but it sounds like its the wrong stuff to begin with.

Glad you found what you were looking for . The cams are often forgotten about and can effect water flow a lot .

Yours is mounted below you reservoir , AND I may see a issue it looks like the lock nut is missing on one the lose on the other . On...

Re: cutting off at idle in gear

Sounds like a carb adjustment , likely the mixture is off . Could also have a vacuum leak . Common area is carb base .

BTW what size props are you running now ? I know you had some prop issues .

Pulling the heads to have them checked and rebuilt this weekend. New gaskets and i might pull the intake and change those gaskets as well.
Intake needs to come off to pull the heads anyway .

I will post a couple of photos comparing them to the one fixture with Dr LED's from WM. I didn't even think about it this morning when I put them in.

They are really bright.
Thanks

Re: Marine Radio Repair

No , just something I found when looking up the unit . I normally would advise to buy a new one . Bu then saw it was not just the normal VHF we all have . I normally just replace this kind of thing or use the factory .
