check all the electrical connections from the dc breakers thru the lower ign switches, up to the helm.....bet you find a loose or corroded one........

on my 36 is 20x21 - 3blade michigan props- My mech believes they are too big??????? max rpm I get is 3900 ,,,,,,,should be 42 to 4400............boat handles great at low speeds, cruises great near 2800 rpm.......18-20 mph.....1000 hours twin 454's.......

came off a 1989, f36, heard it also fits the 32 foot Trojans.........no fabric but great condition, all hardware included..........114" where hinged to the bridge rails, $300 + shipping from Memphis Tn or Pickwick Dam TN.......

I believe you may have broken something in the pump mechanism which is what the steering wheel is attached to.........It has a system of plates & balls which rotate & move the fuild from side to side......these pumps can be rebuilt if you are attentive to how it comes apart.....very attentiv...
