Re: Starboard Engine Stalling Without Warning.
Not to throw a wrench into this but I seem to remember something like this from somebody but can't remember what forum I was in. Turned out to be a bad ground-don't even remember if it was a battery ground or what also I had a problem with mine that turned out to be a coil which you already eliminat...

Re: ok one of my dumb questions.
yes the line from the seacock to the strainer- never really thought about it but running at 3000 or more is sucking a lot of water and I would need a good stiff hose.
I would check first before I installed anything.
thanks

Re: ok one of my dumb questions.

I'm Paying over 5k to store my boat here in the winter (inside a huge metal shed) and a great slip in the spring.Lots of things are going to happen in this area in the next couple of years. Rochester is really openi...

ok one of my dumb questions.
Thinking of a one spot winterizing set up on my boat with chrysler 440 raw water cooled engines. There must be several ways to do this if you think about it. Some guys say to take the thermostat out but I was just thinking??????? You don't want the engine to heat up when running on the water and you...

Re: See anything wrong with this AC install by customer.
thanks-I know there is freon in there as the air is cold but not much pressure. If you sit in froNT of it about 6" away it will cool you down but the cabin itself no. I am going to move it to under the console and maybe put another 12K unit in there also. First I will see what the move will do ...

See anything wrong with this AC install by customer.
The air never really worked that well at all. I think it is a big unit by King aire 19K and it also has a heater???? I tried the heater once and I know it works. The install pic show a 90 turn almost immediately and then shows in another pic that the flex line drops down and then up again to maybe t...

Re: What's the best hookup for winterizing 440 engines
I think I figured it out today when I winterized my air conditioner and water tank and lines.
I want an all in one station where I can put a 5 gal can on top and do all the winterizing from one spot.
I can see how to do it but where to get all the parts????

Mine are already done also the generator but pulling the first water intake hose off every year and hunching down is not for ma anymore. I want to put a valve in between the intake and the water pump. What do some of you use.Just a lever type open close valve facing upward so you can stick a funnel ...

Re: air conditioner question again!
Mine is installed under the dinette seat which backs up to the lower steering console. The return air is just a grilled opening underneath the seat near ones foot and the cold air register is just to the left of the console facing the salon area and another small register facing inside the dinette a...

I need something but I don't know. Maybe I will stick another 12K in there-side by side underneath the dining seat.
I have the whole winter to come up with the solution plus I have it stored inside for the winter which makes it great.

Re: is this a fair price.
I thought about doing it myself but only briefly, like ten seconds. but the time you buy everything you need and the cost of the paint which is not cheap you are already in a good chunk and then all your time and effort sanding and prepping the hull on your back-and then you have to paint it and you ...
