I have an 88 F-36. I have a purge valve in the system near the reservoir. Just like a bleeder valve for breaks on a car. For me I loosen the locking nut, turn the screw on top then turn the wheel lock to lock about 10 times to purge.

Re: lazarette seacock item burst - what is it?
This appears to be a groco strainer. You can go to groco.net to see the different models. I have an f-36 with the same set up. The hoses slide on to a smooth pipe and held in place with clamps. Over the years the hoses do get stuck to the pipe but can be worked loose.
Good luck,

Re: F-36 bow core repair
Thanks all. Willietrojan, I read your post numerous times. It was very helpful in deciding to tackle the project. It is nice to share some of the thoughts on the challenges and opportunities of almost any project needed on all the different trojan models.

F-36 bow core repair
I am finally posting my project from last summer. After several years of watching the bow core getting softer, I decided to tackle the project myself. I started with drilling several holes to assess the damage. Unfortunately, the damage area was larger than I thought. I used a dremel tool to make al...
