Spare parts are no good if you don't know where you put them. I make a parts list and then write beside each part where it is hidden. There are a lot of hiding places on my F-36. The list keeps me from having to search all the cubbyholes.

It ripped my heart out to give them away but I was neck deep in the repower, they were both in the back of my old Chevy K-30, and I had no time to deal with them.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on selling your takeouts. I tried to sell mine for months (excellent running 440's) and wound up giving them away for scrap iron price.

I had installed a freshwater flush system on my 440's before I repowered. I knew I would only run them a year or two but it is too easy to install a flusher to not do it

The big factor is whether the manifolds and risers are freshwater or seawater cooled.

Mine has a pressure reducing valve that also acts as a check valve plus it has a spigot screwed into the inlet port that you can shut off when the dockside is disconnected.
