The sender is in the starboard side saddle tank, outboard of the starboard engine. Not only does the cabin sole panel above it not appear to be removable, but the a/c evaporator is sitting on that panel directly above the sender.

Are the metal fittings on your boat bonded? If so, there may be no need to zinc your rudders unless a reference anode shows you are under-zinced.

I believe that to control both the starter and ignition you need a three wire setup, with a switch for ignition and starter.

The two wire setup will activate the starter, but not control ignition on/off.

I have a 1990 also. I use a little gizmo that I bought in an auto parts store which has a start and run switch. It clips to the starter terminals and the coil. Works great.

I have 350 Crusaders with GM blocks. They put out 270 HP.
My understanding is that in order to access the extra HP of the newer 325 HP small block motors, you would have to cruise at a higher RPM. AT 3 to 3.5k rpms, they won't generate any more power than my 270 HP motors.

My hatch setup is totally different than yours. The only teak frame I have is on the hatch cover itself. The hole is molded into the deck, with a raised lip to prevent water intrusion.

After reading Ready 123's last response, I feel like I am missing something. The hole in the deck is smaller than the hatch, not larger.
