Looking for 10 meter cockpit bench seat brackets

Checking to see if anybody with an 80's international meter boat might be interested in selling their cockpit bench seat or specifically bench seat brackets. I would be happy to buy either, but the brackets by themselves would be a whole lot easier to ship. The bench portions will all be rebuilt as ...

10 meter advice on intake air and exhaust

Over the weekend I decided to freshen up the intake ducts on my 10 meter sedan. I've seen this topic on this site a little bit but would like a little more clarification. My port side grill and accompanying cowling under it has the 4" exhaust duct for a single blower. The starboard side grill h...

Re: Any Boat Presents This Year?

Sweet! Got one of those myself this year! Found a 1969 one owner garage kept 13' Whaler that is currently under full winter project mode!

Re: NEW CURTAIN MATERIAL

Be bought curtains at Bed Bath and Beyond that we liked, and then dropped them off at a tailer shop to be hemmed to length for our salon door/window across the back. For a curtain rod, I ordered a length of 1" stainless railing with stantions (sic) and railing connections screwed to the salon c...

Re: Fresh water leak

In an effort to find my own fresh water leak, I eventually poured red food coloring into my freshwater holding tank and let it sit with no pumps on, just to determine if my tank leaked. I always had fresh water in my front bilge, and it was driving me crazy,! 3 weeks, and not a drop of red water. I ...

Re: Crusaders seem underpowered, 10 meter sedan

Slogfish, I have the exact same boat and year. We've been through ours inside to out. I struggled with running hot for a while too. Hiring a decent old school carb man to get things dialed in on the rochesters helped. Found a guy who runs around keeping local high end muscle car collections in tune....

Re: Free Original couch. Was on 10.8m International

I know that there is a guy on Lake of the Ozarks with a 10 meter sedan that I met last year looking for one. He saw mine and couldn't believe I had one. I know his classic boat club and will see if I can get him in touch with you. Hate to see it go to waste for sure.

10 meter Colonoscopy

So the other day, I saw a friend post something on Facebook about picking up an endoscope online that plugs directly into your smart phone for little to nothing. Been wanting one for a long time, and decided to buy 2 for an insane price of $12 each. 15' cord on each with dimmable LED light, and wate...

Re: 1987 10M Sedan bilge pump question

Same boat, and what others have said in regards to pulling out one of the drawers in the transom. Starboard side "drawer" on mine to really see it. Nothing ever but dust around mine, as any water generally moves forward and stays there. With clear scuppers and lazerette drain, I (almost) d...

Re: Alternator not working

I ordered a new alternator today for my 10 meter's starboard engine. Think it's been out for a while and was getting by with topping off after each trip with the charger. Until the charger died.... Thought about ordering two in my ongoing quest of something breaking on one engine, just replace both ...

Re: 1985 10 meter sedan

I run into this too... Same boat. The boat naturally sits lower in the bow causing any water under the engines to pool in the front of that bilge with nowhere to go. I wondered if the rear or really mid bilge at the engine room was somehow connected to the front. Does not appear to be. The only way ...

Re: Tinting windows

I had mine done this past winter by a local commercial building "tinter". Made a world of difference in the heat gain of my 10 meter sedan since they're pretty much a greenhouse in stock configuration. The sliding glass cockpit Windows and door are slightly tinted from the factory, and I l...

Re: Any info on a 9 meter

There is a website out there called Boneyard boats designed to put old boats into the hands of people willing to bring them back to life. Often for free so that the owners don't see them cut up. They're not for everyone, and a lot of hard work, but it is pretty cool to have something few others do t...
