Re: Upgrade to my F32 V-bunk area

Very nice work. Looks like home. Sleeping in a forward bunk is very comfortable. The gentle sound of the water on the sides of the boat always put me to sleep.

Re: F32 Interior Wood Work

I purchased this F32 in the winter of 2016. The pictures are from the first time i boarded the boat and the finish was still beautiful. I am sure all previous owners used Teak Oil to maintain the deep red color. I have continued using teak oil applying once a year. it takes about 2 hours to do the e...

Re: F32 Interior Wood Work

The interior of my 1988 F32 was in good shape when i bought the boat in 2016. I have been using Teal Oil only to maintain the wood. It needed 2 good coats for the first 2 years but i only do it once a year now. The finish is beautiful, not high gloss but the teak finish and grain is beautiful and th...

Re: running a twin engine slower...

Just shut 1 engine down and live with the slower response from your rudders. This is only if you are not in a tight canal or waterway where you need full control that both engines running gives you.

Re: Winterizing Batteries

I have 3 batteries on my 1988 F32. One for each engine and a house battery. In November when i am hauled I disconnect the grounds and charge them up fully. They usually stay charged for the duration of the winter but i will re connect them to a portable trickle charger in February just to top them u...

Re: F32 V berth storage

The area up front has been a good place for my holding tank. I have a hinged cabinet down low where you step in on each side that can hold life jackets, swim fins, and such. This area can be a little bilgey and I don't think towels, clothes, cloth items would work well up there.

Re: F32 V-berth door removal

Hi, this was one of the first things that I did when I purchased my 1988 F32 in 2015. It really opened up the bow layout on this boat. I was originally going to fill the opening of the V and create a larger bed but after numerous overnights we left the original dual berth layout as it is much easier...

Re: Happy New Year

I just finished a full charge on my 3 batteries last week to be sure that they are ready for the cold. We are expecting some intense weather here on Long Island NY this week to be followed up by single digit temps Friday & Saturday. Think spring, the NY boat show runs from 1/24/18 to 1/28/18.

What I did with my boqt this weekend.

This summer was the first season for me with a new to me 1988 Trojan F32. The twin 350 Crusaders, generator and fresh water system have been winterized. I spray oiled the engines, generator, rudders & running gear. The shrink wrap is finished and I put an access door this Saturday. Winter projec...

Re: looking for a radar arch for f36

I have a 1988 F32 with a radar arch that I am selling. I do not know if it will work for your F36? If you would like a picture you can text or call 516-901-0800 and I will send pictures.

Re: 1976 F28 Blowers location on boat

Blowers should be connected at a cutout on the side of the boat. They always draw air out of the bilge and exhaust out the side openings. I have two blowers on my F32, one on each side blowing out. Be sure that the hoses that connect to the blower are good and are drawing air from the lowest point i...

Re: Finally got to use my f 32

I purchased my 1988 F32 November 2015. It was in good condition but like any older boat if you want the systems to all work you have to make a big push in the beginning to update and fix things. We launched May 10th and I have been out about a dozen times. No long trips yet just local, 1 hour each w...

Re: 1988 Trojan F32

Working hard to clean the bilge in this F32. I have soaped, scrubbed, hot watered, vacuumed, all to bring this bilge back in this F32. The boat is still on the hard and blocked up very level so bilge water does move. Cleaning in the engine room is a challenge when a previous owner puts in an oil soa...

1988 Trojan F32

I purchased my 1988 F32 in November 2015. It is on the hard and I have been working on it steadily as the weather here on Long Island has been very mild. I had new carpeting installed back in December and it came out great. I have installed a new Raritan Marine Elegance electric toilet and a 25 gall...
