Re: It is I, yet again...Needing clarification on Trojan

Dang it YachtSurvey.com! All these years I thought only the 14m was a cored hull because that's what that site says. It certainly seems like it was done right in all models though. I've always avoiding considering a 14m in lieu of a 12 or 13 - which turns out to have been ignorant. On the F-36 I res...

Re: need a radar arch for F 36

Holy cow I miss my old F-36. Why did I sell it?! Damned divorce.

If anyone ever sees it around (sold it to some guy in Pensacola), let me know. I'd buy it back in a minute.

Re: Hey! I miss you guys...and my F-36!!

I'm back...and I STILL miss my F-36 and I still miss you guys. Moreover, I still chuckle at goofs who pay 400k for some bubble shaped boat made to fall apart in 10 years. I'm going to start looking for another Trojan over the next couple months and I can't wait. Maybe I'll get an international serie...

LTNS

Hey youz guise! I'm still around but got busy with a couple babies the stork brought to my house. Don't know why women always complain about all the time guys spend messin' with boats - these babies take a LOT more time that any boat ever did! I'm working on an old downeast boat restoration right no...

Hey...nice to see you again and that sweet boat of yours. The guy who bought mine was from the panhandle and, I think, was going to take advantage of the $2k per day from BP to float around looking for oil droplets after the big spill. He probably paid for her in one month! (what a joke) I heard guy...

Hey! I miss you guys...and my F-36!!

The <now> ex-wife flaked out a couple years ago and left. So, I had to sell the F-36 that I so lovingly renovated...and a bunch of my other stuff. I miss that boat dearly. What a solid boat and awesome value the buyer received! Yesterday was a perfect day and I looked out at my lonely 46' dock - qui...

I read an old study once that showed oil in the water lessens hull friction and you use less gas running. So, if the floating oil makes it down here I'll have to go for a run!

I put these expensive ones a few years ago. They're really nice. The stainless hasn't shown any signs of being cheap metal. http://cgi.ebay.com/Stainless-Steel-Deck-Mount-LED-Navigation-Lights-/370376817274?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item563c2dba7a Y'all know I don't pay full re...

Re: helm cover

I use a BBq Cover on my Helm and I use a smaller size on the seats Total cost is about 25.00 for both and they look great Avaliable at Home Depot :D Me too! The "large grill cover" at Lowes fits the flybridge helm on my F-36 perfectly. You couldn't have anything made custom that fits as w...

I've always bought mine from the "Flag Chick" on Ebay. I'm sure she'll make a Trojan one just like that if you want. I had the name of my boat put on there in matching colors. http://stores.ebay.com/flag-chick This flag is probably more appropriate for my boat than anything...prefer gin an...

Thank you for the responses. JuiceClark, what power do you have, and what has been your experience with fuel economy and cruise speeds/top end speed. Are you happy overall? I currently have a 30' bridge boat, and I completely agree about enclosing the bridge. Hey...sorry it took so long to reply. F...

Striper Man is right - ditto his post. About the lower helm: I just refused to spend all that $$ enclosing the flybridge and putting all that fabric up there to catch the wind. So, when caught in a few boomers, I piloted from below and it was fine. The visibility was really very good. I put one of t...

I'm way down in Sw Florida. That the "southeast" but probably further from TN than Lake Michigan! I mention this once in awhile but haven't lately: If any of you are taking your Trojan around the Great Loop or just around Florida, you are more than welcome to utilize my dock for a stop. I ...
