Just curious, ABYC has these color codes listed. Are they relevant to our older Trojans?

Chain Locker Latches
On our '88 11 Meter EC, the latches for the chain locker are broken. I did contact Bob but they're no longer available. He does have an alternative that would require modifications. However, before trying to undertake this change, I'm seeing if there are any of these latches available elsewhere. IMG...

Re: Heavy Oxidization
Jimbo, correct, I used a variable speed buffer set to 1400 rpms, and went higher pressing very lightly with the finer compound. Used wool pad for heavier compound, and went with the 3M foam pad for finer grit. Important thing to point out. Many think the harder you press, the better the compound wo...

Re: New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
Yes Jimmy, although we'll be in the Delta most of the time, we'll also be running into S.F. Bay from time to time. It can get really windy and on an eb tide, very choppy! I'm sure we'll remain comfortable.

Re: New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
I agree with "slippery" and well designed. I looked at quite a number of different makes, models, years, sizes . . . And, I kept coming back to the 11 meter. We're not interested in a lot of guests, especially over night & really liked the simple addition of convertible bunks for our g...

Re: New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
A few more photos.
Mechanical survey with compressions running from 120 to 125 - very good.
Original Crusader 454's with 900 hours. I own a quick lube chain and I and my managers can rebuild anything, especially older carb'd GMC V8's.
This is going to be fun!

New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Just closed on our next boat. I started with sailing in Santa Cruz while at college and graduated to crewing on racing boats. Eventually, I bought our first sailboat (Cal 34) "subject to spousal approval" (which wife never quite forgave me for). Went throu...

Re: '87 11 Meter Express steering issue
Looked at your boat & others in So. Cal. Bought ours out of Madina del Rey & having it hauled up to No. Cal Delta fresh water next week.
'88 Trojan 370 EC in great shape! Planning some nice interior upgrades! Will post photos of progress.

'88 Trojan 370 EC
Just bought an '88 Trojan 370 EC and scheduling to have it trucked from Los Angeles to SF. Before hauling out the trucking company wants to know the total height to the radar arch (needs to be 12' or under because of bridge limitations). I can't find anything here or elsewhere showing this measureme...
