make sure and check the intake manifold too
I had the same issue and found not only is the exhaulst manifold craccked but the intake also

Hello again John

I have hurth trannys and when I spoke to the rep about this I was informed that there is no issue with free wheeling it
I have been doing this while trolling for a couple yrs and have had no issues as of yet

Im sure glad I live in the south on the texas coast we are paying about a dollar less a gal than what im see from all your post I filled up at our marina for 3.55 agal and I thought that was high its still more than at the pumps of 3.05gal for your car, so much for the my loop cruze this summer thin...

I agree with you john should run abut 10psi for every 1000 rpm
mine just seemed to run higher as metioned above
right up to when the port engine thru a rod
but it had 3427hrs on it
replaced them with 5.7 MPIs and it runs SWEEEEET!!!!
