No offensive, but I thing Star-Board would look cheap and lower your re-sale value!

Re: 13 Meter 6-71TI Sea Trial Results - Interpretation (major rebuild looming?)
1600 hrs is not a lot of hours for those DD's engines. Since the RPM's seem to be pretty close between both engines I would think it's more running gear than anything else. My parents owned a 40 Egg harbor years ago with 6-71 JT's and WOT was 2400/2500 and 1900 to 2000 was her crusing RPM giving it ...

Re: Chrysler Exhaust Elbows
If your elbows are old anyway just replace them with new ones. You can usually find them for around $100.00 or so. Beacon has them, the link is below

Re: Trojan F32 buyers advice
I have had a few boats with Chryslers 360's (Not all Trojans) and never had any major issues. Remember that those engines are 30+ years old so be prepared to replace parts As far as the boat, you need to check for Core Rot in the decks. Almost all Trojans will have this issue, believe me I have had ...

Re: Ford 351 w / merc 233
My F32 had 233hp Merc's and they were very good engines. As to the RPM question, I would hit about 4200 - 4400
depending on load, Gas, etc.

Re: Twin 350hp outboards on F36
you will have a lot of investment in those engines and modifications then it's worth. In addition i believe you would have a hard time selling it later on
You might be better off just buying different boat with outboards already
just my opinion!

Re: F39 ?!?
Pretty Kool, but it's just too proportionally off. I would think an F36 would have a better choice for something like that
