This is what your going to have to do. Check some auto parts stores to see if they have one to rent or even just loan you.

Re: overheating 440.
A friend of mine chased an overheat problem for a long time and it turned out to be the intake hose going to the pump collapsed on the inside. It looked good on the outside.

Re: 1976 Chysler 318 rear engine freeze plug replacement
What caused the casting plug to come out? Did you forget to winterize the engine? You should be able to tap the brass pulg back in. If you can put the plug in a freezer than hammer it back in.

Re: Canvas Top
I bought one for my F32 a couple of years ago. It was very easy to put up, my wife and I did it in a few hours. Just make sure you don't put it up on a windy day. It is a lot cooler than the canvas tops. I did add two extra supports to the front of the bimini frame. Bought a heavy duty sewing machin...

Re: F32 V-berth door removal
No I don't have any pictures and the boat is now under shrink rap. I did get a piece of trim from Lowes and I stained it to match. I just needed a small piece of trim. I really like it much better without the door and that small panel.

Re: F32 V-berth door removal
On my 75 F32 I removed the door to the v-berth and small partial wall on the right next to it. It was very easy to remove and it does let in more light and it gives the appearance of more room. I put in an accordion door from HomeDepot if we need privacy.

Re: Ford 351 w / merc 233
To tell you the truth I never ran it at WOT so I can not give you those numbers. Most of the time I run between 3000 and 3200. AT 3k I running around 16 MPH.
I like to keep the speed down so I can see my surroundings.

Re: Ford 351 w / merc 233
I have the ford 351 in my 1975 F32 with the 2 bbl carburetors. The motors run fine. The only issue I have is I had to put manual chokes on them. Both motors want to be fully choked on the first start, as soon as the motors start I can fully open the chokes and they run just fine.

Air Conditioner
I'd like to install an air conditioner in my 1975 F32. I have the duck work in the boat already as there used to be one under the bed in the V berth. What would be a good size for this boat. It only has the 30 amp service.
Than you

On my 75 F32 You access the lower station through removing the wall panel in the dinette area.
