F32 Flybridge RE-assembly instructions

Also shared to the FB official group but figure I’d put here for posterity too… F32 flybridge re-assembly instructions: Hadn’t seen these posted before so apologies if they have been, but I found this while rummaging thru the old docs in the original boat binder. Thought it might be useful for other...

F-32 window panels modification

Posted this in the Official Trojan Facebook group but was asked to preserve here as well for folks who might be considering something similar. The previous owner had taken off the side window plates but kept them. I’ve noticed some models have them and some don’t. They were in rough shape and honest...

Re: F32 V-berth door removal

I have found that carefully using the correct bit in a battery powered impact gun rarely strips the screw heads, even if they are already somewhat damaged. So much so that I bought a 12V Bosch impact driver just to keep on the boat. Yeah I actually used my driver for just this reason and had succes...

Re: F32 V-berth door removal

Thanks to both of you for the info on the screws (makes total sense based on my experience and I will be finding the right tool for the future!) and for the suggestion on the proper stain. I've only had this boat for 2 weeks so far (sold my old Gibson houseboat and made the Trojan upgrade) and still...

Cutting Taff rail

For those of you who have installed hinges on your taff rail, any advice on type of saw or blade to use? The hardware I bought does cover the ends however I’d love to avoid any splintering etc as much as possible. Cutting into original wood is somewhat intimidating!

Re: F32 V-berth door removal

Well I went ahead and removed the door. Getting the starboard wall piece off presented a little more challenge. Those old screws were rather soft and after stripping several I had to make a hardware store detour to get a screw extractor to finish. I am not going to remove the wall piece above the di...

Re: F32 V-berth door removal

On my 75 F32 I removed the door to the v-berth and small partial wall on the right next to it. It was very easy to remove and it does let in more light and it gives the appearance of more room. I put in an accordion door from HomeDepot if we need privacy. Ken do you happen to have any photos of you...

Kallen. That sounds very interesting. Do you happen to have any photos?

F32 V-berth door removal

Has anyone removed the door to the v-berth and small partial wall on the right next to the dinette on their F32 to create more light and space in there? Just wondering if there’s anything structural I should be wary of.
