can't say if it was burned up
I did not see all the parts when it was broken down
the parts I did see suffered from major corrosion
I am now thinking both engine problems at the same time was just a wierd coincidence

Re: 89 mid cabin paralleling solenoid
That's my understanding as well
But something is not right
Both batteries were being drained
I think the dc/dc charger is the culprit
But why both batteries?

Re: An Engine Issue
I recently changed my distributors to HEI
while the engines are right and left rotation
the distributors are not, they were both the same rotation
maybe common knowledge but thought this might be helpful
also you might want to consider rebuilding the carburetor first if the advance curve checks out

Re: An Engine Issue
I agree with captainmaniac
I would check the advance curve first
also check the plugs again
I don't see how the accelerator pump would have anything to do with it
I did not understand "I have run the engines WOT because I didn't think to overburden the Engines."

Re: What are your thoughts?
some more information might be helpful 1) what kind of ignition? 2 )carb or efi? 3 if carb mechanical or electric fuel pump? 4) how much fuel is in the tanks? 5) if you have two tanks, is the crossover open or closed? I agree with prowlersfish check the anti syphon valves although I think unlikely s...
