Re: Sideshift Stern Thruster Installation

I put a Sideshift bow thruster on my Tri-cabin this winter, easy install! Highly recommend them, you won't regret it.

Hollow keel stink

I recently learned of my hollow keel in my 1985 Tri-cabin, after I cleaned the forward bilge. I had a strange smell, thought it was the stagnant water in the bilge, after cleaning, the smell got worse and I thought I had a leak, then learned about Limber holes from the forum. I removed the water tha...

Re: Potential Purchase Advice

Bought a 1985 Tri-cabin in March, has straight shaft 270 Crusaders, 1200 hours, clean old boat, lots of nice upgrades over the years, Eva foam deck, vacuum flush heads, etc. Canvas, cushions and interior in great shape. Gave $15,500 After owning it for 4 month's I would not sell it for what I paid f...

Re: Fuel crossover

P-dogg, what is your fuel burn, just bought my Tri-cabin back in March, have had some issues with the engines dying, so I haven't had it out much.
Do you have 270 Crusader's?
(I do not have flow meters)

Re: Fuel crossover

Thanks, mine is open also. I agree, I guess the only purpose for a crossover between 2 lines from same tank would be if one line got plugged or damaged.

Fuel crossover

I have an 1985 Tri-cabin, single fuel tank under berth, it has a cross over between the 2 lines. Should the crossover be open or closed under normal operation?

Re: Found in dash

1985 Tri-cabin, how's it work, I know how a diode works. Does it automatically connect battery banks?
Thanks for the feed back.

New Trojan

My wife and I have just spent the last 9 days on our 1985 Tri cabin, (we just bought 3 month's ago), she talked me into looking at the boat, I didn't think it was that artistically pleasing, but once I was aboard I fell in love with the old girl, very roomy boat and so easy to work on. I didn't know...
