Boatbum,

6'2" is no problem for the salon or galley, but the head & front berth is a little tighter. I will measure it for you this weekend and post it on Tuesday.

Cored Hull Locations

A 12 Meter has a cored hull. You should only make penatrations where Trojan made provisions for such penatrations. The location you mentioned (in front of the batteries) is such a location. You can see where the glass appears to depress, since no coring exist there. The risk of a hole leaking water ...

Hugh, At sea trial in 2001 the hours were at 732. We are currently at 860 with no major ploblems. We have a 24' runabout that we do most of our running. The Trojan is our hotel, and gets used on overnights trips. You'll love the way the 11 meter handles bad water, but the trade off is bad fuel econo...

Hugh,

Congrats on your new Trojan....

If my memory serves me right, my sea trial had rpm's of 4100 and a speed of 27 kts. with a full tank of gas using the 24x27's.

I cruise at 3200 rpm which gets me about 17 kts.

Muffler's????? / 11 Meter

I would like to quite down the exhaust noise of my 11 meter Trojan equiped with 454 Crusaders. I looked online for a marine muffler, but haven't fould one that fits in the available space between motor & side exhaust cavity?

Anyone know of a way to cut the racket???
