10M International not draining

Something is clogged and not permitting rainwater to drain from the hull liner into the bilge and out the garboard drain. Where are the drain holes hiding? Water is collecting under the sole and a little in the engine room under the generator.

Thanks,
Brett

Vice grips are a bit of a last resort. Flare wrenches are best, but you may have entered the vice grip zone.

Gardner,

I read you're enlarging the holes for the bow rail. I'm hoping you know that the bow rail is bolted into metal threads, not fiberglass.

This is about a one hour job for a properly equipped mechanic. No need to remove anything except the props. There are two set screws per bearing that must be backed out. Then you put on what looks like a flanged pipe cut in 1/2 lengthwise and a special hydraulic press. Pop, move on to the next one. ...

If you look at other forums that have sub-forums broken out by state, you'll see that they can't generate enough volume to dedicate a forum to most states. They go by regions. So the subset {boaters in South Carolina} is too small. Forget {Trojan boaters in SC}. Go back to why people use forums: to ...

I'll try to answer foofer's question. Just realize that the stakes are pretty high when you're wrong regarding a freeeze. Salt water freezes at 28 deg. You have no worries at all for raw water lines above that temperature. Furthermore, the sea water itself will be well above freezing where you are, ...

If you can pull a serial number off the unit cruisair can tell you if it is reverse cycle. Or you can look for the reversing valve usually located near the compressor. It is the only electric valve on the refrigerant lines. These reversing valves are notorious for sticking, especially if not exercis...

I'm in the same boat, so to speak. I have an international series which has a different helm station, but I bought new 4 in 1 instruments and intedned to flat mount my chartplotter and radar. Unfortunately, prowler is right--the angle of my dash was just too shallow to properly see my screens. I am ...

Charging batteries seems to be the bane of every boater. Sometimes I think I need to do a witch dance because of all the conflicting advice, and I studied electrical engineering! The folks at Yandina who make combiners give a nice explanation of why it is ok to parallel batteries while charging: htt...

I put on a bimini and enclosed the whole boat with a camper back. It makes early spring, late fall, and foul weather sailing enjoyable. It was the single best modification I've made. The guy that did the work sold me on not attaching it to the radar arch. What a mistake that was. Now I have no easy ...

RWS is correct. I've redone mine, and there are bolts embedded in the combing pads that go through the fiberglass and have nuts and washers on the other side. You'll need to remove those plastic bins aft, the transom lockers, and the wood under the sides of the cockpit.

I suspect the vast majority of e-10 users noticed no issues when switching over. Phase separation, while it can occur, is highly overblown and only occurs when there are underlying problems. Your biggest concern comes from the cleaning ability of ethnaol. Your first tankful will really polish up you...

I have the 1982 version of your boat. Assuming the tank hasn't moved, it is located centerline betwen the stringers just aft of the bulkhead separating the engineroom from the salon. The engineroom deck forms its lid. You'll be able to trace the pump out hose to be certain. You should be able to see...

Chapman's defines scope as a multiple of the distance from the bow to the bottom. On pleasure boats, this adds an additional margin of safety. On larger vessels, scope is always defined as a multiple of the depth of water, then add the height of the hawse pipe to get your final scope. In your exampl...
