The two things that made the biggest in Dreamer, was rebuilding the engines with a very mild cam. New carburetors, and stripping the bottom and using VC-17. I know that's more than two. The props I believe are at the factory pitch.

I have always enjoyed fixing up the Trojan boats. This one I felt was the best, I feel I'm ready for the next challenge. I'm looking for something in the 36' range. My wife is ready for a private state room. We do not fish as much on our boat, we tend to go with friends on theirs, so I'm leaning to...

Never thought this would cross my mind

I never thought this would cross my mind, but I think its time to sell Dreamer. My boys are now 5 and 7. Things are starting to get a little tight. We are also looking at remodeling our home, and will need a place to stay for a while. Dreamer is a little to tight for all of us to live in. I know she...

To much to keep up

I currently own two f-28's. I was selling one to a good friend, on a payment plan. He recently walked away from it while it was still in the water, and signed the title back over. Long story short, I do not not need two. So if anyone knows of anyone looking, please have them contact me.

Ok so I am going to have a mechanic look at the engines. I want to give him a list of things to check. Any help with a list? What should I get him to check? Thanks! I would say to start with a compression check, then proceed to to a fuel pressure, followed by a timing check. These are the basic thi...

Wow Dreamer 36mph! That's AWESOME! I am goning to get my mechanic down this weekend and look everything over to see where/why I am loosing power (vaccum, compression, timing, carbs ect). The engines were (apparently) rebuilt in 2004 but the boat sat for 3 seasons before I got it... maybe she needs ...

I'm not sure whats wrong. My 77 F28 runs about 24mph at 3200rpm. My best wide open throttle is 36mph. I also have 2 F28's. The 77 is a little faster than the 76. One has a VC bottom paint, it gained almost 2mph, just changing bottom paint. My 77 has built engines so out of the hole it is faster, but...

No you really can't. That is the major down fall. I change my impellers every 2 years. just for that reason
