I have two digital control units both work but one of them the fan switch sticks...

I also have a complete 16K BTU unit that the compressor is bad but the air handler and other parts are good.

I figure I would post them here before putting them on eBay.

The windlass came off a 40' Trojan International. If is designed for 5/8" line and I think 3/8" chain

Yeah the power coming to the boat is ~100 volts...


The person that replaced the AC unit does a lot of work at the marina, he said he is going to talk to the general manager of the marina.

I am not holding out much hope that I will get anything out of it...

Well I just had the AC unit in the cabin replaced yesterday and the installer said that the AC voltage to the boat is only 100 volts. He suggested not using the new unit until the power is addressed... Could low voltage cause the compressor to die on an AC unit? It seems odd that both my AC systems ...

I did have an AC guy look at it... he is a guy that has done stuff for me before and others in my marina. He said that the compressor is bad...

I have a 12M with 2 16000 BTU systems. One self contained for the forward staterooms and one split system for the salon.

It appears that both are shot... I got a price of $2600 to replace the forward one and I am not sure about the aft...

Is this a good deal?
