Might have a go at doing it myself if I can get the kits. I've rebuilt a few QuadraJets in my time, the AFBs shouldn't be much different.

Randy, what was the rebuild kit you used? I also have the 4-barrels on 318s, and the mechanic who looked at them says he couldn't find a rebuild kit for them.

Found that pretty hard to believe....

Anyone out there have some wiring diagrams for a 79 F30 express w/flybridge? I have seen diagrams for other sizes, but not for the 30.

I hear ya - my situation is that the previous owner(s) decided that when they replaced anything (eg: bilge pump), they would just leave the old part(s) there. So i now have 2 pumps, a mess of wiring that I will have to trace, and not sure which is which. They also removed all the labels for the swit...

My 79 F30 also has the same window arrangement at the lower helm, but the proprods are slightly different. Mine have a larger, knurled knob which I think likely is easier to use than that in your pic.

I don't know where you would get replacements, unfortunately.
