Re: Running one engine on twin inboard

Savings at hull speed is minor considering drag from the dead running gear and the rudder turned hard to steer the vessel. Running both engines also provides better tracking with counter rotation. You will use more fuel correcting your course possibly covering twice the distance through the water. O...

Re: Great Lakes water levels

And it continues.... "Lake Ontario's water levels are at their highest ever — breaking a record that had stood since 1952 — according to data from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. " Usually the levels peak in June, but (from something I just read) last year it peaked in May and the year ...

Re: stuck in the boathouse

Thanks, I have an outside dock, no worries there. I need about 10" - 12" to get out. I can't sink the boat that much with bilge water. aarrrggg.

stuck in the boathouse

The highest water level I have ever seen on Lake Ontario leaves me stuck in the boathouse. Now the problem gets worse. The windshield is only 2" from the ceiling. I will need to remove my windshield. Any suggestions on how to dismantle it? Started this evening and found it to be a huge job. Not...

Re: Project "Tri Fly"

Hi Barrie, Looks like you are progressing well on your project. Question, I plan on refinishing the flybridge teak sole on my F36 and was curious weather the helm seat base nuts would fall down onto my headliner when I remove them or are they secured to the back up board? Also, do you have a good ex...
