I don't why it took me this long to make the link but my Sea Raider has the same engine, granted I've only got a single screw and my gear ratio be different but I could take a look at my prop and let you know what I've got. Someone else here could tell us whether it'd be helpful, I'm new to this who...

Is there some sort of 'Haynes Manual' for the Chrysler LM318? Is that what the service manual here is? I've never taken a motor apart before and I'd really like to end up being able to put this one back together. Any of you mechanics have any tips for keeping bolts/springs/gaskets/doodads in the rig...

I managed to get a little bit of time to go down and look at the boat and put a tarp over it. First I'm noticing som rotted spots. How bad does rot have to be before it's a mater of replace, not repair. As I mentioned before a lot of the deck needs to go. Yesterday though, I noticed a spot in the co...

Like the Trojan folks, I'm a wood guy. I love the way it looks and I hate the glare off a fiberglass deck. I know it will be more work but I think it is worth it.

Yeah got ahead of myself there. Saw the photo before I bothered to read the text. It's also not a whole lot cheaper than Teak like I thought.

Yep there are some hooks there. I had been trying to figure out if they were hooks or if something had corroded off.

We've also got a swim platform but all the brackets have corroded away.

That F25 is very similar to what I want to do, only the board that their railings sit on would be a bit lighter. As for wood, I know teak is common, but I just came across Tigerwood online. Really nice looking wood and apparently very rot resistant. http://www.advantagelumber.com/tigerwood_decking.h...

Canvas Covers

So 'In-2-The Mystic' has snap all along the edge of the cockpit and windshield which I'm assuming used to secure either a cover or a canvas enclosure of some sorts. Is there anywhere left where I could fnd these used or pre-made or is getting one a custom job? Does anyone know if there were canvas e...

Right, well now that she's securely blocked and identified (we think) I wated to start asking questions about some things as I look at them. First up, the deck. We have the vinyl over plywood deck, it looks like it may have been a good look at one point in its life but now it's in trouble. There are...

I know at this point it has to be pre-November '72. Anything after that date would have a different style HIN. I'm going to try and work out the possibilities from that using the iBoats data. Confirmed data: -- Wood core fiberglass hull -- Wood superstructure -- 25' LOA -- Pre November 1, 1972 Uncon...

Doesn't look like it can be done directly on the forum. Give flickr.com a look though, you get a free account and you can host and share pictures from there.

Or you can email it to me. jason@jasonwilsondesign.com

Interestingly enough I just got the title to it today and it lists a third year. The title says it's a '69 and indicates a Chrysler 225 I'll have to pop down to the yard tonight and investigate. Hull number is 2109143. I'm more inclined to believe you lot than DGIF but I can't believe someone would ...
