First it sounds like you Husband is a lucky man . The other boat is just another boat . the Trojan is a clasic . With that said what boat fits your needs better ? What I use for the cabin is a oil filled radator type heater I screw it to a ply wood base so it won't tip over . simple cheap and safe . Not for use in a gas engine room .

Unless your having issues I would not worry about it .

I have a bill of sale on my f-36 conv with a base price of 42 grand add the options and the bottom line is 52 grand it came with gas engines but had every other add on. it is unclear if ths it dealer cost or what the first buyer paid . The exhust would be out the back in most cases . I have seen them run into the main engine exhust . A marine genset is of couse ingtion protected and has a wet exhust that will need a water lift muffler. you will need to run a fuel line from your tank also Can you send me a link to this genset on eb...

Bill , I would hook up a garden hose to it and try it .
