This is the raw water pump that cools the exhaust and trans oil. This is the water that comes out the exhaust pipe while the engine is running.

This is what a water pump impeller looks like after it fails. You can see that the broken impeller pieces can get jammed and brake the water jackets of the pump and stop the pulley from turning. The impeller needs replaced before running the engine. http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo63/wowzer52/F...

Welcome to the forum P-Dogg. I could be wrong but I believe the F-32's don't handle following seas well because of the wide beam and SHORT length. But where else can you get this much room in a 32ft boat. After drilling a hole in the hull to install a transducer, like rbcool, I was surprised to see ...

Ditto on g36. It takes a long time to bleed the hot water lines/tank all the way to the bathroom. It's also hard to tell if the line from the tank to the pump have good tight connnections. Any air leak on the intake side will cause that without showing water leaking. I think most of us have had that...

My original switches are "sudsbury" and are still in the system, one for engines and one for house. I rewired my system but left the old switches in place.

Do a search on here for "raw water pump" or "raw water impeller" and you should find lots of info. It's a simple task. I use vasoline to install the new impeller.
