You wont find a chrysler bobtail. A bobtail engine might still need a differant oil pan, exhaust manifolds and a carb.

Re: Repowering f32-Chrysler or Chevy

If you change to a chevy would you not have to change the bell housing? Also with reverse rotation engine (chrysler ) does chevy make one? If these are orginal carbs they would be carters.

What parts are difficult to get ?. Chryslers are a 2 bolt main where as a chevy needs a 4 bolt main....

Since then I buget at least $1000.00 per year for maintance (canvas, engines, stringers and every other componet that was old plus upgrades to exsisting amenities. Its still cheaper than ren...

Here is what I have. A 1800 watt inverter, 4 T-105 Trojan 6 volt battery's and 2 - 85watt kyrocera solar panels. The batteries are strictly for the a\c fridge. The cost of the solar system equaled the cost of a portable Genny. Silent power. 8 years now

Re: Mast Light

Totally agree on the f-32 mast light. So we saw this light at a boat show.http://navinorge.no/en/index.html
Works great at night ( anchored) as i leave it on the top of the Bimini with the magnetic mount.
