Re: 1976 F32 Main fuse panel conversion

FWIW they make a circuit breaker in ATC fuse sizes that you could use. They do auto reset if tripped but no off/on switch. I have used them in class 8 trucks for years. They are nice and reliable. A dab of dielectric grease before you plug them in and you should have no corrosion problems. (Another ...

Re: New F36 owner here.....

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have the sports fisherman model. They have the bunks where the dinette usually goes. I have a remodeling project going on with mine also. Just waiting for more green stuff. Good luck bringing it home. Cant wait to see pics of it.

Re: Plumbing Questions

Hey Paul, double check your tubing size I find it hard to believe you have 1/4" tubing. Our boats are only a few years apart and mine is 1/2" tubing. It may be 3/8" but doubt its 1/4. With 1/4" tubing you would have very little water flow. Is that why you don't shower on the boat...

Re: 74 Tricabin. Batteries

As far as the chargers go I would use a single charger with two or three outlets, depending on if you utilize the generator or use the third leg to charge a dedicated house battery. I run three batteries on my F36. One for each engine and one for the gen set and a single charger with 3 separate lead...

Re: Not quite summer yet!

Its hard to put a perspective on all of this weather, yesterday was 68 down here and today is 45..... I will trade you my 1 degree for your 45 degrees! And I work outside in this mess. BTW I run a heavy duty wrecker and there are times I times I have to lay in this slop to hook up and pull driveshafts.

Re: Salon Decking - Replace or Re-Layer?

Ok so you want a stiffer floor....... why not pull the old panels up and replace with 5/8 or 3/4 plywood? you will have a thicker floor than the original and not as much weight as adding another layer of 1/2" to the original. Just an idea..............

Re: Salon Decking - Replace or Re-Layer?

From what I see in the pics, I would be tearing out all the bad wood until I got to solid good wood then start replacing the wood and glassing it in. But that's just me..... Also looks like you might want to consider removing the sliding doors while doing this project and get a better seal on reinst...
