On our 1980 F 32 I have been using Liquid Gold with really good results. It brings out the true color of the wood and makes it glossy. Make sure you rub the old in. Faded wood seems to really suck in the old and restore the original coloring!

Update, Mechanic Josh from Holiday Harbor completed repairs. Earlier in boats life some one put in 3 inch galvanized lag bolts into stringer. That's what broke Engine shifted to center of keel. Damaged gear reduction box shafts . Ended up replacing whole transmission . Test run went fine. Dunkirk to...

We have a 64 year old classic wood boat in which we use a product from Minwax it's called Wood Hardener and you should be able to get it at paint stores. Let the wood dry out and then apply. Makes the wood hard again by filling pores of wood. Good stuff.

Hi, yes the stud broke. We were lucky just outside Dunkirk NY and mechanic on duty. Seems it didn't bend propeller shaft. Replacing seal on back of transmission tomorrow morning since it should arrive today thurs..Wasn't bad remounting engine to stringer but you would have thought they made a steel ...

Howdy, has anyone out there had to replace a sliding side window on a F 32 series boat? Just picked up the boat and is in transit from Erie to buffalo and broke a port engine motor mount too. Fun steering into dock area.
