Re: plumbing the 10 Meter holding tank

I just changed my lines too and one thing I liked with new systems is the holding tank input and output come through the top of the tank only. More importantly is the output. Rather than have the output at the bottom of the tank it should come down vertically with a pick up tube from the top of the ...

Re: 12 Meter Sanitation Overhaul - Relo of Vacuum Tank

Based on what you're stating and what I've read and heard from the tech at dometic, I think my relo will be just fine. I was surprised to know the vacuum tank can be up to 50 feet away. My old run from bowl to vacuum tank was about 15 feet, now it will be about 5.5 feet. Less hose, less problems. No...

Re: 12 Meter Sanitation Overhaul - Relo of Vacuum Tank

I bought a 50 foot roll of Shields 105 Poly X Sanitation Hose, it has a lifetime (as long as it is my lifetime) warranty against odor permeation. I think I'll be ok with that. The toilet ball valve is about 6 inches higher than the future location of the vacuum tank, that would go slightly lower to ...

12 Meter Sanitation Overhaul - Relo of Vacuum Tank

The 12 M that I bought last year has a Vacuflush system. The vacuum tank is located at the foot of the bed in the bow and can only be accessed via a 12x12 hatch. My project was to replace all the sani lines since there was a significant smell that couldn't be covered up any longer with fragrance. On...

Re: SeaWolf Windlass 520

Found it! Well thanks to some electrical drawings Bob sent me I found the solenoid. Hiding in plain sight. It's behind the starboard motor next to the battery charger. Need to get behind the motor and look forward to read it. The solenoid looks like the average run of the mill solenoid, not what I h...

Re: SeaWolf Windlass 520

That relay is for the two way windlass - power up and power down. Mine is smaller, gravity drop and power up. It makes sense to have the relay in the locker with the rest of the connections, but not my version. I'm going to have to start taking things apart to trace the wires to find the solenoid. T...

Re: SeaWolf Windlass 520

Hi,
I found what the solenoid looks like. Does this picture jar anyone's memory if they have seen this around their International boat?

International Series Interior Lighting Covers FREE

I switched all of the interior lights to LED last season and I have 6 of the old covers that came with the boat that are brand new in original plastic packaging.
Does anyone need them? Send me a message. Just pay shipping from Long Island.

Re: SeaWolf Windlass 520

Hi, Thanks for sending that link to the wiring diagram. My 12 Meter has slightly different wiring. They bring a third small switching wire along with the larger guage wires from the battery. Note in my pic that the relay is not there. The only way this will work is if the relay is located somewhere ...

SeaWolf Windlass 520

Winter project, get the windlass operational. SeaWolf 520 on the 12 Meter International. Gravity drop, power up version. No clutch handle included with the sale when I bought the boat in August. Anyone have one they could send me the dimensions on the handle and what it's made of. I can probably mak...

Re: NEW BOAT PURCHASE

I don't know if they are called fins, the three horizontal pieces integrated into the hull where the air vents are. We go to Stamford a few runs(crab shell).
