Re: Trojan doing excellent
trojan got it in their head that 'sand' was the color to use. (hey, it WAS the 1980's) can you say frustration when it comes to even remotely matching it when you want to repair a ding or scratch? it drives me crazy. http://minicraft.com/colormatch.htm Send them a speaker cutout, or your trim tab s...

Re: Important Boating Question !!!!!!
The board policy is no "negative or inflamatory" posts. I don't think proposing ways to eliminating a terrorist counts as either. However, I am personally against it. I think his brother got off easy -- a prolonged painful death is more in order.

by LandVF36 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 9:58 pm Are there other triangles with "D" on other pages? Often, in wiring diagrams, they use this this type of symbol at the edge of a page to indicate that the wire continues on another page. Could this be it? This probably is it. On my 1985 tricabin, op...

Re: Today I Am A Forum Supporter!
I have never taken a sit-down bath, but I did try it on for size. You could do it. Most boat showers are an especially tight squeeze, but since the tub determines the floor real estate, the shower is big enough for two, if you are so inclined. I think the tub will come in most useful as a wash basin...

Re: Water tank level
I just bought a water tank sender and meter from WEMA. I can say that they appear to be of high quality. I bought the S5U and the UDWR-BB-240-33 LED gauge. If your tank is aluminum, you can buy half-nipples from mcmaster.com, weld them to a plate, and bolt the plate to the top of your tank. That is,...

Well, the shrink wrap is coming off the adjacent boats and the ice eaters are long gone from the docks. Time to admit that winter in Maryland has come and gone. Am I the only one with shattered dreams of projects that might have been? I had such high hopes for myself. For various reasons, mostly all...

Re: Wonderful non-parallel shafts
when i take ENTERPRISE out for her first spin of the season What you haven't been out yet? Shed the slip queen image (talking about the boat, Aaron) and get out and see what she does on one wheel. Aren't you in the middle of 13 days between shifts? Last year you had an excuse. Time to make up for i...

Re: Now this is a Re-power
A very nice job until they used a PIPE WRENCH ON THE PROPELLER SHAFT NUTS!!! Not even a monkey wrench, a pipe wrench... And what about lapping the prop and the shaft? I'm glad I wasn't paying for it, but it is nice to see such a boat revitalized. And it's nice that it got TV airtime, in HD no less.

Wow, this got more attention than I thought it deserved. I just said that I'd consider who I was helping, not that I'd refuse to help anyone, or that other forum members should not help anyone. I do stick to my guns about "supporting" the forum, but acknowledge that there is more than one ...

You may find the information in this link useful: http://www.urethanesupply.com/pfxinstrumentpanel.php Lots of useful information for repair of panels that may not be in such good shape.
