I just recently removed all the wood backing plates in my F32. The struts, rudders and fresh water valves. Im using 3/4 inch marine ply and they are slightly larger then the fittings and I rounded the corners. Off hand I don't know the dimensions of the bolts. I can measure them later today for you....

Bonded another stringer down last night ! One more piece to go tonight then the encapsulation starts.

Thanks for the compliment ! I have a ways to go yet but I will be so glad when the stringer a nd bulkhead replacement will be done !!

I wouldn't use steel as a replacement. I think it would be to heavy.

More pics of the bonded stringers

Well during the summer I made new stringers.
Created templates out of foam insulation board and then transferred them to 3/4 inch Marine ply.
I bonded 4 layers of ply to create 3 inch wide stringers. Bonded the stringers in the hull and then will encapsulate them in fiberglass.

Built an A Frame to pull the motors. Then some bulkhead and stringer repairs and a fresh coat of Bilge paint. More pics to come.

This was the fuel filler neck of my starboard tank and you can see it was also inside the tank.

So this is what the inside of my starboard fuel tank looked liked.

Should So I disconnected the wires from the strobe and the engines wouldn't fire up. So I wired them back up. Didn't realize the strobe had a round dile type knob. I turned it off and both engines are starting in any sequience. And the start board volt gauges is working. So could it have been the s...
