Re: F32/F36 Upper Station Console
Paul, Hamie and gitchisum, Good morning and thank you for replying to my request. We did fair the storm well - lots of prep and cleanup, but no damage. Already and the F32 on the hill, so I had them strap it down to auger anchors in the ground. They put steel harbor pilot boats on each side, so she ...

F32/F36 Upper Station Console
Good morning all! Haven't been on the forum (or the boat) in some time due to my wife's health issues. Our F32 is now back in the water after 6 months on the hill and then back up/down for hurricane Matthew. Its got a new bottom (literally - had to grind off everything including gel coat due to dish...

Re: Air Conditioning
Can anyone who has installed a unit in their F32 please provide some info/photos? Thinking about installing something like the Mermaid 16.5kBTU unit under the galley sink .... thoughts? Re: Taller Rudder Stuffing Boxes, F-boat ?
Paul,
I believe you're right. My photos don't show it well enough to tell, so will check it tomorrow in the sunshine.
My diver will be here tomorrow as well, so I'll have him check the outside.
Thanks!

Re: Taller Rudder Stuffing Boxes, F-boat ?
Does anyone happen to know what the dead-rise is on the F32?
Is it 5° or 8° at transom ? I have seen both listed.

Re: Taller Rudder Stuffing Boxes, F-boat ?
No, I doubt I could get a wench to work on those either ;) Finding that many boats have the top of the rudder log above the water to keep water out and allow for packing without hauling the boat. Many also extend the packing nut up from the floor with a length of rubber tubing and hose clamps, which...

Taller Rudder Stuffing Boxes, F-boat ?
Hauling the boat in December for Bottom Paint, new Thru-Hulls for engine cooling and new Strainers. Thinking about replacing the Rudder Stuffing Boxes with taller units, where the top is above the water line to eliminate drips here. Mine are so low and near the 4 thru-hull bolts, that it is nearly i...

Reliability sounds iffy ...Big D has had to install dozens of them....  Our local TV station has an advertisement for a "Roto-Rooter" company and the lady homeowner exclaims: "I call them all the time" :D  It has rained non-stop since Wednesday here in Charleston...

Reliability sounds iffy ... Big D has had to install dozens of them... Paul doesn't trust them - always runs by the boats to check on them, and then can;t sleep if he forgot to look. Just kidding guys ... Finally (after 18 years) wired the dock this summer - (3)each 450ft conti...

Re: 1981 F32 battery charger
Big Do, Good to hear from you. How have you been? Do you have the ProNautic P or C3 series? The Remote display would be nice (not sure I need it though). I didn't see that, and can't find it on my supplier's price list ... http://ca.binnacle.com/images/productimages/33285-MED.jpg The 4 bank Powerman...

Re: 1981 F32 battery charger
Thanks for the feedback guys. I just wish that Promariner ProNauticP has a 4-bank unit. PowerMania is new, and they seem to have targeted the bass and Walleye boat market to start... The unit will also deliver the full 40A to a single bank if it is down, where the other units I have been looking spl...
