Pulled my Mansfield head out of my 10mtr express . Cleaning, replacing seal and putting in the upgraded water valve while it is apart. Preventive measures. Looking for a plastic toilet seat alternative to fit this instead of the Bemis wood covered seat. With charter use, plastic lasts longer and cle...

Re: 10 meter rudder bushings

Need someone to confirm that the 10mtr express rudder shafts i's 1 3/8". If so, this is what I installed. Clearance the hole to fit, install opposite of pic so flange sits flush and rest of bearing drops down the hole. 3 Screws and sealant to bearing flange/rudder box surface. Be sure to use a ...

Re: 10 meter rudder bushings

need a small guy to fit back there. It is possible with a small guy.

Bob at Beacon has the lower ones.

I replaced my top bushings with bronze ones instead of the crummy plastic design. Problem solved. I will see if I can find out where I found them

10 meter express part Trojan forgot to build

Ever since getting my 10-meter I was always annoyed by the open space in the back of the bilge. Anytime you try to work your feet had a small lip to stand on. I could not bring it to myself to just put a piece of wood across it, as you can see by the pics , I finally installed a very nice fiberglass...

Re: Trojan 10 Meter International Express Resurrection Post

I am in Grand Haven here in MI. If you want to come take a look at my boat, feel welcome. It is in drydock now, and going in the water in mid April. I have done extensive mods. Here are some pics including veneer interior. http://www.flickr.com/photos/33192674@N ... 972670334/

Wanted- 10 meter express- Great Lakes area

I am looking for another 10 meter express to expand my charter business. Condition is not a huge factor- diamond in the rough(complete project to a complete boat) or the diamond at the right price. I would prefer Great Lakes area boats- big block only.
Thank you in advance

Mark- Here is my opinion

First of all- the boat looks great and I am glad to see it is in the water. Now for my opinion-- My 10 meter is an express like yours-- data from mid cabin boats can not be used for comparison due to the increased weight- shaft angle and engine placement. With that being said I will give you my 2 ce...

Info need 10 mtr with bridge but no back walls-all open

I saw a listing without good pictures of a 10 meter that has a flybridge, but does not have a salon. I am told that it is all open to the back deck and has the same layout as the express under the hard top---entry door to cabin on left- helm on right. Does anyone have any information or pics on this...

Mark

Well-- I have a few ideas on this Where exactly are you located? I have a friend who has a trucking company. My thoughts are that I could even have you cut it in pieces to make it easier to ship and then I can glass it back together with reinforcement of aluminum on the inside. I still have to get b...

Ways to save $$ on fuel

To answer the question on my fuel consumption-- With my 3 blade props I was averaging 26 gallons per trip.(on a typical trip our run out is under 5 miles) I switched to 4 blade props and dropped to my current consumption level. 454 carbed gas- electronic ignition- good tune With that being said- I h...
