Re: Engine monitoring
what are you trying to monitor beside exhaust temp? i was thinking that was what you originally asked about. you dont need a engine interface to use the lowrance sensor shown you need a nmea2000 network for them which is nothing really special. something like this could work http://www.lowrance.com/...

Re: Engine monitoring

Re: Repowering a dual engine 1970's Trojan
I dont know how long you have been boating by some of your other posts but a lot of people think they will keep their boat a long time but a couple years later they have the itch to change. If there is nothing going on with the engines you have I wouldn't waste money on trying to save a few bucks on...

Re: 1977 F30 Express Emergency Battery Combiner
It's basically a relay that if wired properly will combine 2 battery's in case of a dead battery to start your engine it will combine another to help start your engine. If you remove it you will have to bring a jumper cable or physically move or rewire another battery to start your dead engine. Me I...

Re: Dreaded 2 Engine failure
If your sync gauge is working why remove it? They are nice to have but most everyone can learn to hear when the engines are out of aync. I wouldn't make the assumption that because your analog tach reads the same that they are sync up they may be close but you could then see with your guage or hear ...

Re: Cruise Air split AC system
Here you go. I installed the fx1 on my trojan it was very easy and made life way easier. Works just like home set the digital temp and forget it. When I had purchased it there was a vertical retrofit I didn't see it but they may still sell it has all the same control but a vertical panel instead of ...

Re: Air conditioning control unit
i assume yours isnt working? have you contacted micro air? although they arent made anymore according to their website they still service many of their discontinued products. if not they be able to suggest one of their newer controls that would work. http://www.microair.net/main/products/product.php...

Re: 10 Meter Inverter Location - Install Complete!
one thing to consider before running the entire ac panel through this is to know what the transfer switch is rated for in amps. do you know what the internal transfer switch is rated for? is this mentioned in the manual? i agree that it will operate most everything but water heater in inverter mode ...

Re: Head/pump out power switch on panel
I would agree with your assement of the switches. You never though. How full is your holding tank? If it's to the max you may be seeing discharge through the vent line of the holding tank
