I use my Trojan for enjoyment & fishing. I use my Grady White for offshore fishing & fuel savings.
All paid for, I owe no one. Bragging rights I guess. As long as I'm on the water, who cares. Enjoy the view!

Took the F31 out today
Got a chance for another day out. Most of the bugs are worked out with just a few minor tweaks! Sure was great!

Re: Trojan 10 Meter Express Shore Power Issue
I would check power at main circuit breaker and work my way back to the dock power supply. Checking power at the main breaker will tell you which direction to go.

Re: 1971 F31 hardtop trim tabs
I have the F31 Flybridge with what appears original trim tabs & motor. It's a larger motor, I believe I have the book on it. When I get back from Florida I'll see what I got hoping to help you out.

Re: Original Mufflers in F32
I've seen one of these blow due to a backfire. Appeared to be fiberglass. Nothing much to them at all.

Re: F-32 Stereo / Speaker ideas...
I found these as I was searching for speaker replacements on my boat. These are 4 ohm. Priced reasonably low. I myself will be using an 8ohm setup for the saloon and 5 1/4" 4 ohm up on the bridge. I cannot find a need/reason for two stereos onboard. My head unit is the Dual MGH20. I'm regrettin...

Re: F-32 Stereo / Speaker ideas...
There is a way to use 8ohm speakers to be 4ohm. If you are going to use multiple speakers (qty 4) it would be feasible. Hope this helps. - Lou

Re: Up Grades
After taking possession in August, I have managed to get both 351's to run and idle, did short haul to clean bottom & running gear, touched up bottom paint and barnical blocker to running gear, replaced refrigerator, mad cleaned boat, (scrub-x), kill and remove 15 wasps nest, repair steering sha...

Re: Anchoring & Raft-Ups
Prowlerfish - I can imagine how rafting up around here is not a favorite in choice. But meet & greets or beers-n-tales are more favored. I would not raft over night with others, too much risk. I'd consider raft up in a calm area for a few hours with others, like a swim call & BBQ or what not...

Anchoring & Raft-Ups
I've heard of the trojan rendezvous and not sure if they still happen but I've been thinking of summer plans in the Hampton Roads area. I'm originally from Ohio and boated with family on Lake Erie so we had nice places to boat to, Put in Bay, Kelly's Island, Cedar Point. Party places of choice and n...

Re: 1972 F31 PROP/RPM/SPEED
2500 RPM I was cruising at 22.2 mph (wind dependant). I thought I had got the tach in the shot but I didn't. I'll check the tach's but I'd be surprised if all four are bad. I have specked them at idle with my digital meter and they seem to be on point there. Next trip out I'll give it a second look....
